KX Technologies LLC, a global provider of consumer filtration solutions, has earned the Electrolux 2018 Supplier Innovation Award for Food Preservation. The honor was presented at Electrolux’s sixth annual Supplier Awards event in Stockholm, Sweden Oct. 16.

KX Technologies, a Marmon Water/Berkshire Hathaway company, was one of 13 award winners chosen from among 3,000 Electrolux suppliers. KX was honored for a new compact, high-efficiency air filter used in a variety of refrigerators produced by Electrolux worldwide. Based on KX’s patented Fibrillated Adsorbent Cellulose Technology (FACT®), the filter provides superior air quality in a small footprint, thus enhancing food freshness while maximizing refrigeration space.

KX Technologies and Electrolux have long collaborated on water filtration solutions for refrigerators. Since jointly developing the first filtered water dispenser in a refrigerator in 1995, the two companies have worked together on numerous filtration products. “KX appreciates and values this award and the mutually beneficial relationship we enjoy with Electrolux,” said Jerome Barrillon, KX Vice President and General Manager.

KX Technologies manufactures filtration products for consumer applications including for under-sink and countertop filtration units, point-of-use and point-of-entry systems, and refrigerator water and ice filtration systems.
